We offer a range of courses designed to teach the skill of DJ mixing which also extends to digital DJing, CDJing, audio production and more.

Nu Skool DJ Academy is establishing itself as an exciting avenue for students to learn a new skill set with paths that may lead to future employment within the music industry.

We are taking our product into the schools to reach an audience that will benefit greatly from a fresh, fun and interesting form of musical expression.

Guilford Grammar School is currently in their 3rd year, running a full semester class with Nu Skool DJ Academy. It has proved to be a great success with the students who have taken exceedingly well to the skills being taught and demonstrating a great respect for the new craft they are learning.

We hope to translate this success with students from all schools across Perth. Our semester timetables for schools are open for bookings during school hours and as an after school program so please let us know if your school is interested.

The 16-week course is designed to allow students the chance to experience an area of modern music that is fast becoming mainstream. It gives them the skills and knowledge to learn with some of the best DJs in Perth, using the best equipment in a pro-audio environment.

Upon course completion students will have the technical information required to DJ, an understanding of how to develop their own style, an introduction to the options/technologies available to the modern DJ and personal development and confidence that comes from involvement in any performance art.

Nu Skool is about promoting a different avenue for creative expression to students that may not be classically oriented within the music arena.
